  1. Absolutely beautiful photos Barbara! I tend to agree with what you wrote. It is difficult to share parts of yourself. I share small pieces of me, but don’t share too much. Maybe something to work on this year. Fear of rejection or possible confrontation is always a thought in the back of my mind when writing my own blog. I guess it’s a bit of insecurity possibly.

    1. First, thanks for the compliment! And I agree with everything you say…actually I’m much more insecure about what I write on my blog that the photos I post. So insecure that I just deleted my comments about The Maugham quote because I hadn’t seen that you and Henrietta had responded to my writing, and I immediately jumped to the conclusion that my writing had bombed, totally and completely bombed, sunk to the depths of the ocean bombed.

I think my leasson here is that I need to give my writing a chance and not be convinced it’s the worst trash ever written as soon as I post it!
And I would love to see more of your writing on your blog, incidentally. When you feel like sharing. Your photography is already beyond gorgeous, and is one way of getting to know you…I’d love to get to know you through the written word more as well. Thanks for your support my dear. xoxoxo

      1. Thanks Barbara. You should continue writing. I truly enjoy it and I’m sure many others do as well. I would love for you to follow my blog. I posted today, I hope you take a look!

    1. Henrietta, my friend, bless you! Those are not words I generally think of in connection with myself, although certainly the nostalgic and sensitive bits fit, and I am thrilled to find that someone like you considers my work elegant! I am so used to putting myself down I shall be rereading your words frequently for the next few months. 😘💕💕💕
